Disable Skins

I am legally blind, which I know makes this request or question a bit niche.

Many of the new skins modify the visuals (silhouettes and effects) as well as the sound so drastically that I cannot recognize the original champion, especially in the middle of a melee. Some moves, due to color palette, become impossible for me to see at all.

The only solution I can think of is to get ahold of all the default skins and install them as custom skins. The downside to this is that I enjoy most of the skins. I also can't find the default skins as custom skins.

If anyone could point me in the direction of the default skins, that would be great. Or if anyone has other suggestions for how to deal with this issue, that'd be fantastic.

Doesn't the skin system work by giving the champion a completely different character model?

i suggested this to riot in a ticket last year they told oh looks like a neat idea how about you make a forum post about it, so i did but nobody really seemed to care

i would kill to disable some skins that hurt my eyes. I can't use project skins and playing against them just hurts me.

I would also be in favor of an option to turn off all skins in-game. Seeing them in the loading screen is fine, but some skins really confuse me sometimes when I'm in a big skirmish. And in these important situations, I don't want to have to take an extra second to think about who is who.

I know this is an old post, but the OP's point of view is an important one and seems worthy of a bump to me.

Bumping an old post. I find elementalist Lux and various Janna skins hard to tell apart. I have to check every game they are in and see what champion is actually playing. It's much worse if they are in the same game.

The hard and complicated solution would be use custom skins ... like a lot

One for each and every skins possible

And turn them to their "default skin"
