#MY KING, WHERE ART THOU? This title may be misleading but I'm talking J3 here. Jarvan4 is still prince j4 and I haven't heard much about j3 for who knows how long. In fact the last time I heard about the Jarvans was in Xin Zhao's story.... Or Sions story when an even older Jarvan died... Anywho what I'm saying is rito needs to touch up on the background characters too

#THE RUINED KING AND HIS KINGDOM Yeah that's right the original owner of BORK and all that. If memory serves, Kalista was his advisor who searched for a place to resurrect the king's wife... Which is pretty weird considering (and I'm no expert on ressurecting people) but I'm pretty sure with the right mages you don't need a special place for such a thing, maybe a place for the ritual but that should be more like planning a venue than finding a needle in a haystack. Plus what happened to him? Why is Kalista okay with having bunches of voices in her head. What are the other residents doing? What happened to his wife? Are they the ones in twisted treeline?

I would honestly imagine that the Ruined King is probably an ancient descendant of Jarvan, to connect your lores together. We know that when Mordekaiser's skull was sealed in the Blessed Isles, the tribes around the Immortal Bastion began condensing to form the city state of Noxus. We can assume Demacia was also forming around this time, considering that they're bitter rivals. What we also know is that centuries passed while Mordekaiser's skull was on the Isles, until the Ruined King made an oopsie and made the place an undead hellhole. Given that the Ruined King comes from a larger empire, and that Kalista and Hecarim seem to be part of a formidable military, it may be safe to assume that perhaps he was a descendant of the Jarvans, and a ruler of an early Demacia, since there was plenty of time for the city states to have bloomed and become empires during Mordekaiser's entrapment. At least, this is what I'm hoping is true, as this would be a kinda neat way to link Demacia to the Shadow Isles and the Mordekaiser lore, as well as possibly explaining why they hate magic so much.
