Hey so a lot of people have wanted mastery 8 for a very long time because they gotta spam that emote to heighten their self-esteem

I think that earning mastery 8 on a champion should be meant as you can only have this for TRUE mains of a champion so here's my proposal for requirements on mastery 8 and you can disagree

Must have 100K points on the champion at least
4 Mastery 8 tokens all of which must be S or S+
at least level 50

Leave point 2, getting s or another letter is just matter of luck.

Mastery isn't a meaningful expression of skill. You should have to play ~20+ games of the champion in Ranked, and after 5 games in any given tier after that (i.e. Iron, Bronze, etc) it should say, for example, Kha'Zix Mastery R (Bronze).

If you want mastery to mean anything, it should make a clear distinction between Yassuo's Yasuo Mastery and some Iron IV shitlord with 1,000,000 Mastery Points on Yasuo.

Adding arbitrary tiers to the mastery system is meaningless.

Mastery 8 should be limited to one champion, per account, and resets per season (in case you swap mains). I alternate between two champions and have two separate accounts dedicated to those champions only. I'd love the idea of grinding to unlock an amazing mastery 8 emote and showing that I -chose- this champion as opposed to getting mastery 7 on a slew of champions simply by spamming them (like I did with Jax the freelo machine).
