Brand now is suffering from Volibear-itis. His lore says one thing and the more recent champion's lore mentions him in a different manner. I have a theory that the lack of Brand nerfs and Ryze's new comic (which is a good read, would recommend) that he is higher up on the rework list. Here is my list of reworks that I think will happen (in no order).

I believe Pantheon won’t happen anytime soon.
Recent history has shown that it’s less about being severely outdated and more about if the team finds a good direction for the champ.
Seeing as he doesn’t get much talk about him from Rioters. I believe there isn’t much passion for pantheon from him so he’s most likely “forgotten” in a sense.

Keep in mind that Pantheon got his new lore in 2016,so just because a champ got a lore update that doesn't fit his current ingame-self 100% doesn't mean that they'll get their rework anytime soon.
If anything I'd say the fact that Brand got a new lore shows that Riot has no intention of updating him anytime soon,becuase if they had this intention,then they would have waited with the Brand update til his VGU.
