What are Xeraths goals?
I was just wondering, what are Xeraths goals in lore? Does he want to destroy Shurima, or does he want to rule it?

Ruling of course.
He would destroy Shurima to rebuild it again if necessary though. He is also not limited to Shurima. He wants all Runeterra.
I want him to leave this impossible goal behind, and be a good boy.
He wants to rule the whole Shurima and wants more power..

Xerath doesn't just want Shurima; he wants to take over the entirety of Runeterra... A possibly even extend beyond to Targon, when/if he learns about that.
In no particular order: Take over Shurima and/or the world Kick Azir's ass Make popcorn for the inevitable Nasus/Renek fight Finish the job if the Renekton doesn't
Considering that he took over a city, i think that he wants to rule it.
megalomania at its finest. Any semblance of a character Xerath had he lost in his Ascension. He just wants to make everyone his slave and be a supreme evil overlord.
He probably just wants power, like Brand.
