The title sounds incredibly sarcastic.
For a moment there I was hoping we'd get some pessimism back on these boards. Oh well.
I like it. I personally liked the New Aatrox's initial model, but this retexturing does put him more in line with Old Aatrox, yet still making it look new and fresh.
Agreed! It even looks more in line with Varus' appearance. There's still the issue of the dance though.
His kit is still terrible
I think if they're going to do warbanners, they best (IMO) way to implement them is with Aatrox's chad-walk animation. Have the sword create banners as he walks and have him throw them off when it's go-time.
Thematically he keeps the imposing movement toward you while him throwing them off is similar to a berserker throwing off his armor. AKA "These are just going to slow me down let's fucking GO son."

i like that a lot more people to be honest with ya though i think he needs a crotch plate or somethin looks like his dick could just be hanging there

Looks like a scrapped Diablo sub-boss.
I like the tiny extra details, like the extra texture on the "rocky" parts of his body like his horns, legs, and fist. His entire chest is much more detailed as well instead of an almost flat red.
Wow that actually makes a world of difference. I am in the no Banner wings camp myself. They always looked a little dumb and having them come back in the ult is more than enough of a callback, like Swain's Raven when he ults.

I like the new shoulders it makes him look really durable even if he is immortal in the first place

yes it is, and they should exactly STOP there. his model needed the darker textures to get more in line with Rhaast. But they should NOT bring his fugly banner-wings back! (would destroy this cool new model and doesnt fit when he wears his sword on is back!)

Am I the only person who feels like something about his body just looks really anatomically incorrect? Its like his legs and head aren't fully attached to his torso or something, they remind me of the segmented body parts on old action figures. I don't think Riot realizes just how odd it looks in the photos when he's standing still.
