Does Shen ever use both his swords?

So, old Shen was really awesome and I really liked it Animation wise, I really loved the ki-strike animation and how he used both his swords.

Animations on new Shen are really ugly to be fair and wonky, even the way he walks. But I can stand that... barely. What I want to ask is: does new Shen ever use both his swords at the same time? I don't know, maybe a critical strike animation? Or on some skills?

EDIT: Just a complain, he's way too big compared to his old model

I don't think he does. He uses his actual sword with his normal AA's and uses the spirit sword when his Q is active.

I doubt that he uses both at the same time. One is for autoattacks, one is for his Q.

He used to use both of his sword as he alternate between the 2 swords while attacking. Each strike Shen would pull his sword to attack, before sheathing it immediately after attacking as the other hand pulled the other sword to attack, and process repeats. Occasionally when triggering passive Shen would also attack the target with both swords at the same time.

In the new attack animation, the 2 swords are used in different "modes". One of the sword will only be used if the AA is empowered by Q, the other sword is only used for un-empowered attacks. Shen in the new iteration will only sheath attack after he finishes attacking with its respective mode (if empower strike finishes, Shen sheaths the sword for empower strikes and use the other sword for nomal un-empowered strikes, and sheathes that too if player exits combat). I believe this is the case.

So as far as I know, unfortunately, the current Shen does not use 2 swords at the same time for an attack.

well, if you look at the lore, one sword is SPECIFICALLY for humans, and things of the mortal realm, the SPIRIT SWORD is for spirits.

Tell me, who the hell is both a spirit and in the physical realm at the same time?
