I did theorize that the assassin would be dispatched to kill people within the society that were willing to give knowledge of Ixaocans' existence away to their enemies

This champion seems to be in their leadership, a queen of some sorts. TBH she doesn't even really read as an assassin

Maybe my theory about Gestapo like police state qualities is false
