Well, to start off. Tahm Kench has a pretty impressive VO already, but we can do better.

Especially because Tahm is known as the catfish/frog/demon thing with a silver devil's tongue, yet many champions now have much more lines to say than him.

So I got this idea from another visually and thematically mysterious champion, or should I say champions.

These two have quite the mysterious lines, especially when you die. Specifically, Kindred has these things to say when they die.

Wolf: "Lamb, tell me a story." Lamb: "There was once a pale man with dark hair who was very lonely." Wolf: "Why was it lonely?" Lamb: "All things must meet this man, so they shunned him." Wolf: "Did he chase them all?" Lamb: "He took an axe and split himself in two right down the middle." Wolf: "So he would always have a friend?" Lamb: "So he would always have a friend."

Lamb: "Are you there, dear Wolf?" Wolf: "I am, little Lamb." Lamb: "Are you sad?" Wolf: "I am." Lamb: "What does it feel like?" Wolf: "A long hunt with no kill."

Wolf: "Is it time?" Lamb: "We will soon awaken from this pale slumber."

Wolf: "Is this what it feels like to end?" Lamb: "I do not know, for this is not our end." Wolf: "Do others come back?" Lamb: "Those who do, wish they hadn't."

Really makes the spine tingle, and I feel that Tahm is just as unsettling, if not moreso.

A perfect example of what I am looking for is Tahm's Teaser, or should I say, story time with Tahm Kench.

We need more of these. Tahm can spin many tales while you're waiting to respawn, and since time means nothing to Tahm, depending on where you are, mapwise, he can give insight into the Rift's lore for example. If you're in the Howling Abyss, he can tell the story of many freljord champs; we can even find out about Lissandra's revenge on Avarosa, because Lissandra never tells us herself. According to her, "That's a story for a different time." So why can't Tahm tell this story?

Thoughts?

"There was once a king whose wife he loved very much. One day, a scheming devil took her hands in exchange for her keeping her purity and loyalty to her husband. "10 years," the devil promised, "then we will see how loyal you are." With a heavy heart, the King went to war, and the Devil intercepted his letters home, tricking the king's men into forcing his mother to kill his wife and child. The mother sent the two away and killed a deer instead, sending its tongue as proof to the King of the deed. The king, distraught, returned and searched for years, but when he found her at last he did not recognize her because she had grown back her hands.

And so he kept searching."

There can never be enough Tahm voice lines.

If there is any one champion that deserves constant VO updates and additions it is Tahm Kench.

I like this, and the Kindred quotes bring something else to mind. Quotes or brief monologues by a champion waiting to respawn would be a cool way to add more to their character (and their faction), provide a bit more detail/info than their quotes while alive, and would probably be easier than putting together long stories or animation sequences. Like, I could hear Draven bragging about his fame or accomplishments while waiting to come back, or Graves criticizing TF if they're in the same game.

Yesssss...

Lots of stories of Tahm's pervious victims, like the Gambler, each ending in misery and despair...
