So you maybe know by now about Lissandras "Masters" The FROZEN Watchers..the weird ice beings that made a bargain with the Frejlordian people and gave then powers, magical weapons and immortality...And now today officially they are Turned into the entities of the Void the few of the very first beings to exist...hmm Idk how I feel about that...I know even when Vel'koz came out everyone was pointing out the ruins on the Howling abyss with Vel'kozes design...I honestly never liked the theories that there were void portals in Frejlord and the Watchers were Voidborn...I always though of them like separate kind one of its own..Not associated with everything we knew by now.. So that kinda explains the WHOLE wait for the continuation of the Frejlord lore...Personally I think Riot warn't sure what to do with the Frozen Watchers maybe they had different idea/plan for them and they didn't fit into todays lore.So they scratched that idea and connected them with THE VOID... PLEASE tell me your opinions thought ideas.. I would absolutely love to see..

It seems like the Watchers are now becoming the evil overlords of Runeterra.

How I understand it, the Watchers were ancient beings with the goal to destroy Runeterra. And to achieve that, they had a variety of "side projects" they were investigating. One could be Lissandra and the Black Ice in Freljord, the void is another one.

The watchers aren't voidborn. Void born are the creatures MADE by the Watchers, the Void as a whole was the product of the Watchers just like Lissandra''s black ice.

Did they officially turn the Watchers into Voidborn? Do you have a link?

I'm a little salty if they did. I was big into that theory back in the day, but it kept getting shot down because the Watchers were specifically something else.

OMGGGG I HOPE THEY ARENT VOIDBORN!!! The watchers need to stay special creatures not from the void tho.... jesus pls rito dont make them voidborn... Iceborn is such a unique character that making the watchers from the void is just a mess....

How powerful are the Watchers? I mean, they were defeated by the Iceborn Rebellion. I don't think they are potent enough to control Void completely.

I think what happened is, Void has existed since the birth of the universe and not just created by the Watchers. Watchers just found a way to control the Void, and it is just a tiny fraction of it. Not the whole Void itself. Though it still would be enough to create a spark grows on scorching fire, devour Runeterra.

I believe what lies beneath the Void is definitely far more dangerous and scarier than Watchers. Watchers just use it as weapon.

It is really ridiculous to say Watchers are ultimate masters of the Void, similar to Chaos Gods of the Warp. They are not, if they are, they just retconned the lore.
