@Riot Are we getting a timeline soon?

Because right now, that's what we're missing.

Obviously, with the map just released, it's not expected immediately. However, a lot of backstory uses vague terms like "decades" and "centuries" to describe events without ever giving a definitive number.

In some cases, a war or champion biography takes place long ago and is described in such a way to appear mythical, but world-changing events like the Watchers' defeat or Xerath's ascension are probably big enough to have an official date. The old lore, for instance, had events have their dates.

So, are we getting it any time soon?

I mean, we have a rough idea of what happened when, but no numbers. I hope we get timing nailed down at some point.

the most accurate timeline you will find , they update it consistently with what happens in the lore ^^ take a look http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Timeline ( obviously some stuff here may not be accurate )

but i do agree Riot should make one themselves which would just be 100% accurate ! but this one is really good

I like to think "WHERES THE TIMELINE" is gonna be our new milestone now that we have our world map. In all seriousness though, I do hope we get to a point where we can have a visual, some-what solidified timeline one day. We don't have specific dates, but a general idea of what happened when though.

Let's see. It took what, about 10-11 years for a solid map? That means it'll be at least another 10 before we get the accompanying timeline... [slayer-jinx-wink]
