riot failed in making god king garen an appealing choice in the vs. event.

the skin is visually still better in my opinion, but you went overboard with the voice lines making him look like a tyrant and unappealing.

so many comments ive seen from people who think that garen is the "bad guy" and darius the "liberator" in this event, because they dont understand both characters fully.

garen is simply missing lines that make his motivation of peace and protection more obvious, next to his more self righteous ones. darius might be missing lines that make him look like the reckless warlord he really is, doesnt really care about other people than himself, and comes over too much as "the cool rebel".

darius is already the more popular champion to begin with (simply because hes the stronger champion), so the event is a bit rigged from the start. but making garen come over as too unsympathetic was too much imo.

you should have focused on making both of them appealing choics, with some voice lines on the side that put them into more of a grey area character wise. but i feel like with garens voice lines theyre entirely focused on making him look negative.
