@Riot: Let's discuss the consequences of skins given to skin neglected champions.
Take Zed for example. Because Riot doesn't officially count Team skins (like SKT) into a champion's skin release schedule, Zed had technically gone for 3 years without a skin until September 8th of 2015, in comparison to his release date of November 13, 2012.
Now of course, Project is a great and high value skin, don't get me wrong. But we're going to discuss beyond that. We're discussing ideas here. We're going to discuss the concept of skins being given to underskinned champions. What does this mean for them in the future?
Does this mean they should continue getting skins in a relatively short length of time, in order to, I don't want to say "equalize" them with other champions, but AT LEAST put them "out" of the "needs a skin" zone?
Or does this mean that those 3 years will, for lack of a better term, be "wasted?"
Does it mean that the longer a champion goes without a skin, the longer they will go without a skin?
If you want my opinion, I think champions who are underskinned but receive one skin in a long time, should continue getting LOW-EFFORT skins, like 750's or chromas, or at the very most, another 975 within the same year. This is what happened with Zac. He got a skin and a chroma pack in a very short amount of time because he had gone for such a long time without any love. But Zed isn't getting equal treatment. He was, until chroma packs were scrapped because of poor implementation despite community warnings to Riot. So what does this mean for Zed OR OTHER CHAMPIONS who receive a skin after a long time of no skins? Does the lack of a chroma for Zed mean he's going to get a couple of 750 tier skins this year? Or a single 975? Or does this mean he's going to have nothing for the next few years in a row again?
Disclaimer: I've only been using Zed as an example. There are other champions that have received a skin after a long time of having no skin, that are also in the same boat as Zed. Is all that time going to waste? Is it going to, for lack of a better term, going to be "made up" for? What is Riot's thoughts about this?
