@Riot: D&D and other RPGs in the League of Legends Universe

Would Riot ever be interested in creating a tabletop RPG guide for Runeterra or for the various territories within it?

Not only would a lot of players probably gravitate towards it (because of cross pollination between your fans and D&D fans) but I also imagine that it would be a good option financially because it requires less maintenance than a video-game with its servers (and other infrastructure) and periodic patches.

Feel free to discuss in the comments about the feasibility or merits of such a project, or even adventure ideas that could be used if such a project were ever undertaken.

A couple other Rioters and I got together and wrote a LoL adventure guide and mini-handbook for 5E as part of a Thunderdome project. It was fun to figure out races like Vastaya :D and I wrote a Hextech Engineer class based on Artificer

Ate a lot of humble pie making it though- its so difficult x_x we only got maybe 10-ish pages into it after 2-3 days? I can check in with the team and see if they mind me posting it if you'd like to use it as a spring board or something for your own campaign

I'd DM that.

I know this might not be what you are asking for but:

YES PLEASE! Finally we could get an updated map of all of Runeterra.

I mean, it's not official, but you always have GURPS. There's a reason it has General and Universal in its name. Theoretically, you could make any champion, any item, and any character based off of it.

Then again, you'd have to have enough lore of the world to base it off of.

It's not entirely unreasonable for Riot to work with SJ Games for them to produce proper worldbooks, however...

I'm actually in the process for making a campaign for my playgroups. big part of DnD is being flexible so I'm working in the standard DnD races as well as LoL unique ones such as Vastaya Also including more variant humans from the different regions.

Party will probably be initially dealing with either Freljord politics or Bilgewater piracy. Once they level up some from those questlines I can bring them into bigger things with the major civilization centers.

Definitely custom making a bunch of creatures based on more monsterous champs, and stating out some of the champions higher level PC's Also custom items....thinking I may create my own Darkin if a player expresses interest in becoming a hexblade warlock
