Yuumi's design is not... muted enough?

Like, for example. Zoe is extremely colorful with all the targonian vibes going on for her. Everything about her is colorful, but pastel colorful. Pool Party Zoe actually IS colorful, not just with pastel colors.

Sylas is grey and muted, unlike his skin; which has color accents while being muted.

But when I see Yuumi... Yuumi looks like she's already in a skin.

She looks like a Victorious / Championship skin.

If you don't understand.

Look closely at her splash art. She has the normal colors of a Victorious skin; Gold, Pearl ( Baby Blue ) and Navy. Her antennae seem to have the level 3 Honor flower, which the golden bouquet on her head also adds on to. The book looks again, designed for the honor symbols. With golden floral leaflet straps and again, a big blue pearl; in the center of it.

If I were someone coming back from a long time away from League, I'd truly think she was a "Victorious 2019" ward skin, or another familiar besides Poro.

I understand you wanted to go back to Bandle City since we haven't had a champion from there for a long time, but you should've went more with the Lulu design of things. This honestly seems a bit sloppy to merge the honorary look to Bandle City. I hope the next champion is a little more unique.

I think part of the problem is that Bandle City actually doesn't have a defined colour code, unlike almost all the other regions. To show what I mean:

Zaun - Green Modern Zaunite designs are now represented with the colour green, hence why the updates for Urgot and Warwick had alot of green details to them.

Piltover - Blue Hextech in general is coded with blue colours. Examples are Camilles blue energy lines and the changes they recently made to Caitlyns traps to emphasise her relation to Piltover more.

Noxus - Red Black and red are the colours of Noxus. Swains rework, Kled, and many others are showing this.

Demacia - White Additionally to the blue and gold present in Demacian designs, white is representing it the most in my opinion, because of the petricite, which is iconic for Demacia. Sylas, Galio's rework... you know the drill.

Void - Purple I don't think I have to go into detail here.

With all this being said: Bandle City didn't get a new champion in ages and Lulu was released before this kind of colour coding for the regions had really been a thing. Look at Bandle City champions in general: Corki Lulu Rumble Teemo Tristana Veigar

What would you pin down as their colour code? In my eyes, there doesn't seem to be something like that. Zoe, Sylas and other recent champions are part of a region which is more defined aesthetically than Bandle City.

Bandle City is a mixed bag, there were no design restrictions for Yuumi because she is a champion of a pretty undefined region. Being extremely colourful fits Yuumi's design and there was no underlying regional design they had to follow like for Zoe. If Zoe wouldn't be from Mount Targon, but a wanderer without any regional strings attached to her, then she would have ended up more colourful in my opinion.
