Rafen, Miss Fortune's second in command?

Let's summarize. The new champion is obviously from Bilgewater, or some sea-related place. He is a support, and what's a better support (at least to a captain) than a second in command. It's an agressive support, and I believe the folks from Bilgewater aren't especially known for their peacefull intention. A list mentioned, which reminds me a lot of bounty hunters (another correlation with MF).

I think this deserves attention.

Last time I checked, Rafen was a relatively normal pirate along with MF and Gangplank. I mean, sure, he's cool as heck, but he doesn't really fit the dark and gritty that Riot's hyping this champ up to be.

While I'd love to see Rafen as a champ eventually, I don't think it's him this time around.

Doubt it is Rafen. The new champ is hyped up to be something from deep under the sea,not a guy who lives in Bilgewater.

I thought the new champion they're speaking of was "new rework". Cause it almost sounded like they were going for Nautilus.

They confirmed Nunu after teasing him, so they teased another rework. Said rework is an aggressive support champion that dwells under the sea and drags people into the depths.

The picture teasing the idea is someone looking through the glass of a scuba suit with fish swimming by.

I like the idea. Given how many champs were in Shadow and Fortune, I think it'd be neat if one of the other named characters became one.

I wonder if they can somehow make a giant floating talking fish into a champion. Could either be majestic, scary, or humorous.
