It'd be a terrible shame if you were just pulling a Mike Tyson Street Fighter drop on him. I mean, Zenyatta voicing Lee Sin is okay, but don't do it just because people are slandering Vic with no evidence.
If you're gonna remove him as Lee Sin, let him voice another Champion in the future.
The new VO is fine. Why would we not want an update even if you don't like the reason?
If they did replace him because of the issues then they aren't going to let him voice another champion in the future.
In the video game industry, big companies will be quick to drop people at the first sign of trouble. Considering everything that's happened already this year with Riot, and part of last year too, they have to make sure the people they're hiring are good for their consumers and good for their work ethics. I'm not entirely sure about the allegations, but Riot wouldn't have dropped this dude for simply no reason.
You must also understand that Riot has the money to afford hiring a brand new VO straight out of nowhere. To put it plainly, if it turns out that Vic actually did what he was accused of, and Riot kept him as a VO, it would look bad for Riot.. very bad. So they kicked him off and got someone else in ASAP to avoid any more negative conflict.
the thing is, even if the allegations are proven untrue (which I hope), there are idiots on the internet that will spread the idea he is guilty, ruining his career because it pressures companies into
A: being faithful to Vic, thus spreading around the idea they are keeping a sexual harasser even if proven they are not or
B: changing the VO to avoid any further rumors, which will have horrible fallout if he is innocent
obviously I wish they didnt drop the VO, but you gotta understand PR is much more tight nowadays
