Finished story of League
I have a question: Will there ever be a completed lore for League of Legends? And if so, will there ever be a book or series of books to tell that story?

What would it tell? Riot's lore isn't like say Dragon Age or Marvel, there is no 'ongoing' story because the current status of the champs in game are their current existence in the lore. Think of it this way, if the timeline actually moved forward, Kayn would either be consumed by Rhaast, or Zed will kill him for picking it up, neither can happen as his state in game will be changed.
That doesn't mean Riot couldn't try to expand on lore for example in Bloodlines or the recent Yasuo/Riven story. They still have a lot to do to get all champs up to date. We still know nothing of Bandle City.
No, because they keep changing the lore. I miss poppys lore, dark.
Really doubt that as they will likely continue to add new champions as long as the game is running.
An individual champions lore might be "finished" at some point(like when a champion dies,but don't expect that to happen anytime soon),but even then there is nothing that would stop riot from releasing a lore piece that plays before said finishing point.
As much as I would like that, I dont think it is possible. The game has an ongoing lore that will not stop, but instead keep expanding and evolving. This means that the lore will constantly change. However, events such as the Void invasion and the Ruination of the entire Runeterra have a possibilty of happening and also ending.
They could, for example, kill off certain champions in the lore, they could eradicate certain nations, or even change their status entirely (Let's say that Mordekaiser successfully takes back The Immortal Bastion). Event conclusions that definitely will not happen in the canon lore are, for example, The successful Void Invasion or the Black Mist spreading across Runeterra.
In conclusion, the story of LoL will not end as long as the game keeps evolving. We might have events that have a major impact on the world of Runeterra, which is as close as we get to possible conclusions.
If Riot wanted to, they could introduce certain lore conclusions as novels. The Void Invasion, the Ruination of Runeterra or even a second Rune War are all great examples of a way to keep the lore of LoL interesting and appealing, even to those who are not directly familiar to the game itself.
That's like asking "will we ever get the finished story of DC comics". Runeterra is a planet with it's own long and complicated history. There's no one cohesive "story of league" just like there's no one cohesive story of DC or Marvel. Leauge of Legends is a franchise/intellectual property with multiple characters that have their owns stories.
No it won't "finish" because the story is just one of their new mechanisms they use to make players engage with their game. Even though every satisfying story has an ending, ending Leagues story will make people disengage because "it's done" and then they'd go do something else.
