It goes a bit into detail about the visual characterization of the Void - y'know, it's in the title - and that made me think: What if the next Void champion we get, would start out as one of those twisting tendril like creatures with no clearly defined shape https://am-a.akamaihd.net/image?f=https%3A%2F%2Funiverse-meeps.leagueoflegends.com%2Fv1%2Fassets%2Fimages%2Fvoid-the-voidborn.jpg https://am-a.akamaihd.net/image?f=https%3A%2F%2Funiverse-meeps.leagueoflegends.com%2Fv1%2Fassets%2Fimages%2Fvoid-armored-in-darkness.jpg That would, over the course of the game develop into a Void creature as we know it. Perhaps even adapting to the players choices, similar to how Kayn can go 2 different playstyles or how Kha'Zix' model adapts to his Evolutions - although this thread is about visual design primarily. Gameplay brings its own issues Lots of 'em

The problem is this cool look is easier to do as 2D. It would be pain in the ass to represent as 3D model.

Honestly I imagine that this could be something they'll do with Cho'gath. Letting him start as a weirdly shaped being and the more he eats, the more consistent his form gets(and the more purple he becomes)

Noone would play a completely unrelatable champion.

ARMORED IN DARKNESS Some legends suggest that, when they first emerge into the Runeterran air, the Voidborn are generally pale, fibrous and flexible. As they age, sections of their form harden into a darker, shell-like chitin, which can become strong enough to turn aside almost any weapon.

Considering that, i think that both of those Voidborns do not have the "shell-like chitin" that the Voidborn Champs have (Except maybe Kogmaw). If we add that shell, they would have a more defined shape.

EDIT: I really liked the videos of that chanel, thanks for sharing

That'd be hot. I used to really want an amorphous champ and was hyped during the Zac teasers. I was kind of butt hurt when we got gumby instead. Lol.

The bottom pick kinda reminds me of Arceus from pokemon. It would be pretty cool to have some void 'god' champ or just some badass creature like this. I am having a hard time thinking of a potential kit from such a champ though :/

They wanted probably to branch out of the usual purple abyss and dark octopus gods which is very similar to WoW and make a more unique version for League of Legends
