I find every single skin to be below average. I feel like Riot isn't putting a solid effort into him at all with skins or lore. You would think he would be THE central figure in this game because he is the king of the "good guys" yet I can count on no hands the amount of times he was involved in lore events in the last 4 years.

his model is kinda out of date so it affects his new skins, same reason why all morgana/kyle/jax skins look crap because their models are out of date
He got updated lore, a short story, interactions in other champion's lore, and a very quality Dark Star skin. I think he's doing fine.
You seem to expect a lot out of his older skins. The vast majority of older skins suck.
