@Riot Is Vayne still related to Evelynn with her VGU?
Twisted Fate and Evelynn were once a couple but now that's not canonical anymore.
Now with Evelynn's VGU and the dark isles having a look at, is Vayne looking at another lore update or are you keeping it to have Evelynn has the demon who killed her family. It says horned demon in the lore which saddens me because most champions give insight to the world of Runeterra or have an interaction with another champion that highlights properties of them. The horned statement dismisses Evelynn as the culprit removing any hint at her other than Twisted Fate and Vayne's lore giving more world building.
Also, I am also curious on if I'm missing something from her lore or it just feels like her lore doesn't offer much (as in it's dull comparatively to other lore in terms of content it offers). Champions like Nasus and Kog'maw are pretty mysterious but we get so much knowledge about them and their world from other champions and their lore confirms topics such as (Void growth, Nasus possibly looking for Sol etc)
Reading Vayne's lore, there's not much I feel is being revealed other than just her character. Without her lore, we already know:
- Demacia is prejudicial against magic
- Frejlord is facing Lissandra
- There are demons and dark magic
I would be interested in:
- How her Silver Bolts work against demons since Vayne dislikes magic
- Possible involvement with the Black Lotus and Dark Isles (As both deal with dark magic and she should be against them)
- Hints at her being a rumored threat or some lore cross-interaction because League of Legends indicates these characters have feats that are ordinarily impossible in Runeterra. I want to see what makes Vayne legendary
With stories like the Void and Frejlord, we get:
- Void classes and their style of growth (Kog'maw, Cho'gath, Rek'Sai)
- Relation to Shurima
- Void is possible the threat Aspects exist for
- Nasus/Bard can possibly release Sol from Pantheon to restore Shurima and face Void
- Frejlord Fight
TL;DR - Void and Frejlord have champions that offer so much information and cross-interaction.
With Vayne, I'm not really getting much about the world/lore but more about herself. I think her character as a roaming vigilante can offer a lot of insight to the world.
