Cursed revenant nocturne.....darker

I just bought the skin and like it, but can't help thinking that it should be a little.....darker, more noc-ish. Less shiny.

How about making the metal pitted and rusty with only the very ends of the blades shiny and sharp? Giving the whole skin a darker, weathered look would go a long way and it wouldn't take much time or effort. Thanks.
