A few of his lines actually make more sense now; before Burning Tides Graves and T.F weren't people he really knew or cared about. M.F was just some bounty hunter. Now his taunts make more sense to them, as well as some other lines, but in particular;
"My bounty's on the board Fortune, and there it stays."
That's got way more bite to it now that he's cheated death and denied her revenge.
