Silver Kayle's model is painfully disappointing compared to the splash art...

Just look at this thing. Bask in the greatness of this artwork. She looks like a boss from Dark Souls. Look at how long and flowy her outfit is. Look at how amazingly epic this thing looks. From the weird things wrapping around her sword, to how just parts of her armor are just floating off of her. It's beautiful. Fantastic. Perfect.

...maybe it's just me? But does the actual model lack WAY more epicness than the splash art has? Seriously the model is a painful downgrade from what we're expecting. I mean seriously look at the stark difference. The coat is WAY too short and doesn't have this amazingly haunting look that her splash art does.

The hair also looks completely different from the splash art as well. Look how it's all in one thin sky blue loooong ponytail that wisps airily in the wind. Then look at the model. It's just a messy looking dark blue mess.

Seriously, everything from the outfit to the sword to the hair all pale in comparison to this amazing splash art.

And yes, I understand that not every single model can look EXACTLY like the splash art does, but this is such a horribly stark difference, it's almost like two completely different skins.

I know Silver Kayle is 100% one of the rarest skins in the game and the chances of any of us seeing one is absolutely low, but still, the principle of the matter is still there. The in-game model looks absolutely terrible in comparison to that splash art...

It's just a matter of them applying completely incorrect lighting to the splash. King of Clubs Mordekaiser and Kindred's default have the same problem.

https://imgur.com/a/PMWRzsW I've circled some areas that indicate that the "flowy" parts of her outfit aren't actually parts of her outfit. She was encased in stone, obviously, and as you'll notice with the sword, the statue she was inside took some liberties with the sculpting of all of this excess fabric to make her more grand. The actual Kayle breaking out ISN'T dressed in flowy fabrics, she looks just as she does in game. We are given this indication by the fact that the larger areas of the stone flowy fabrics have large chunks missing and huge cracks in them, which means there is nothing actually beneath them that they were encasing.

Ok so I'm just going to answer your guys' questions really fast because I'm getting sick of them... Why does she looks like that and not more like the splash art?

League of legends tries to make their game run smoothly and efficently so a lot of people can play it. It's amazing just how many low end computers can run the game on high settings and still get around 30 fps. It's amazing how riot has managed to do that. It's one of the reasons why their game is so popular. This means that champions have to follow guidelines on how much resources they can take up. They can make her armor super flowey and match the splash art to a T because that'd be using up a ton of resources that's just no allowed. Literally just CROWS from Swain was enough to make computers crash. They optimize everything to the T. If you think Riot isn't skilled enough to make a model that looks like that, you're wrong. They just literally can't. I swear if someone asks me but what does a character having x have to do with preformance ima kms. Don't talk about creating a game and optimizing it if you don't know how or the tech that riot is using. The silver Kayle skin looks amazing for what they could do. Besides isn't that literally a limited skin people can't get anymore? Would you like them to allow lag in the game just so silver Kayle can look better? The reason why the colors don't really match is because the team has to follow a guideline of clarity rules. They have to make the champion stand out the most compared to the background and other entities.

This is the case with alot of splash arts and skins.

**Malphite ** Splash art: Rock giant smashing tiny insignificant warriors. Model: Meatball meatshield who just throws rocks at you.

Archlight Vel'Koz Splash art: Giant celestial being, purifying the unholy with a ray of light. Model: Glowing spaghetti.

And It's not like we see this skin alot anyways. For all i know, only 10 active accounts might own the skin. And i don't think Riot will re-release it or turn it into a Gemmstone skin. Just like they did not do with Human Young Ryze.

Why bother having her wear a long skirt if you're not gonna include it in the ingame model...?
