Guys stop with Urgot getting standalone/unique skinline stuff, that is not really what Riot meant

Here is the key detail that just because one has insert theme added to, doesnt mean the other is different. "So… all of that to say both? It depends? Let’s go with 70% “let’s make a new <insert theme name here> skin for Darius,” and 30% “let’s make a new Darius skin.” But, don’t quote me on my math, despite my making this post completely quotable. : )

P.S. The skins coming out for Aurelion Sol and Urgot in the next few months are one of each."

lets go back

"Illaoi on the other hand was a champion that hadn’t had a skin since launch. As much as we loved the community idea of “Used Car Salesperson Illaoi,” we were concerned that her first skin since launch being more on the trolly side would be disappointing to players who had waited so long for a skin. With her it became more about, “What theme really works for Illaoi, regardless of theme packs this year?” And then, as you know, a community vote."

A while back, our strategy was much more, “Let’s make a new Darius skin, what should we make?” But once we started seeing how much players enjoyed getting skins in theme packs, and how we could use those themes to run bigger events in League, we definitely shifted in the opposite direction. It became more about, “Players would probably enjoy another VS event this year AND two Legendary skins to go with it, which champions would be awesome for this?”

Just by looking at this and given how random and outliner that Mecha Aurelion seems in this patch, it could be that he is the 30% one that is lets make Aurelion a new skin, what should we make?

But at the same time, I could totally be wrong, and who knows, we might see something out of the blue to Urgot.

That first paragraph is a hot mess of incomprehensible text.

To debunk you, I believe when asked what skin line Urgot would be added to, a Rioter actually told people that he was going to be a stand alone.

You are completely right they basically did this skin just so the community will stop complaining about where is the Aurelion skin which the skin actually shows these signs that it was a rushed concept. Also that yes Illaoi had the special treatment where the community could vote for her next skin because Riot wanted to make her a serious skin and they actually took their time making it while us Sol mains had nothing like that. Also i find it hard to believe that from every concept that was flying around on this board and also on the Sol mains discord and reddit i don't know why they went with the Mecha concept which is so unfitting with Aurelion's design The model looks so ugly from the front and also it's missing his legs
