Why do people want to 'discuss' Neekos Sexuality?

Tbh I don't mind it, actually I'm kinda happy that they did it.

The one thing I hate are the people that hated her before she was revealed but are saying "OMG THIS CHAMP IS AMAZING" based on the fact that she's a lesbian. They're reducing her to nothing but her sexuality.

One word. Politics. Riot wants to show how progressive and diverse they are. The Left will gobble it up, the Right will outrage over being force fed political agendas but will keep playing and buying RP anyway. The Centrists will be divided on the issue but not care enough to outrage over it because this trend will eventually die.

I really don't get the obsession with this tbh. Normally I dislike when an agenda is forced into a character, making them a social politics 1 dimensional robot, but that's not even what's going on here. It's just some flirty lines with someone who is female, to females. It's no different than the stuff like Ahri or Illaoi say (although it IS more innocent.) The only thing that felt unnecessary was the jab at males, but otherwise this really isn't a big deal.

I also find it funny that riot didn't reduce her to her sexuality, which is what the problem tends to be in other games. It's the community that did it.

I just find it funny that she's "the last of her tribe" and "needs to rebuild", yet likes girls more. Good luck rebuilding your tribe, then.

Getwoke go broke. Riot has less than 24 hours to go back on their statement before this game becomes a ghost town. I highly suggest they fire whoever made the stupid choice to proudly delcare her an lgbtq champion. Because this is going to cost them in the long run. I'm not sure why riot doesn't realize sjws do not play their game or buy skins or champions. Doing this will make the people who use to leave the game. They better hire a good PR rep for this one. They likely won't. History repeats itself,next move is to attack any fans who speak out against it. Next move after that is to declare all gamers who play their game to be sexist bigots. Next comes Mass ban-waves,starting with streamers who speak out against it,then normal players threw the automated system.

The end of riot games will start within the next 24 hours,the moment Sargon of Akkad,The Quartering,Raging Golden Eagle or Rags get wind of riots mistake here,its all over. The dislike bombs on neekos trailer are starting already. Hope you people weren't looking forward to the next season. This game will not last another month. Someone at riot really messed up. Having this happen at the end of season gurentees no one will come back. Had they done this earlier people may have been incentivized to continue to seasons end.
