Theories Discussed: Avarosas Bow, Oracles, Spirit Walkers, Frost Priests ... SPOILERS

After most of the COMIC is out I thought Id point out some theories I have.

Avarosas Bow Now Im gonna explain to you whos bow this probably is and why its definitely not avarosas. Tarics taunt toward ashe says:

The bow is of the stars, as is its Mistress

Now this taunt has some validity to it, tho it still isnt from avarosa, the bow is celestial/of the stars. Upon investigating I noticed that grena, ashes mother, searched for the bow by navigating the star constellation! https://i.imgur.com/jZUjkbr.jpg[] Now you would think, well whats wrong, everything seems fine..Well Avarosa was never the one to look to the stars/targon! It was Serylda.

Attempting to command the heavens above them, Serylda lost her voice to the first twilight. Avarosa faced the twisting dark beneath the world, and was deafened by its emptiness, waiting to consume all creation.

What we know for sure is that avarosas Bow was a false myth and Ashe lied about the bow simply to fit the legend. Now we know that at most, its seryldas bow because she was the only one near targon, so the aspects should know of her. RiotGlorft commented this:

Taric now has insight into a greater understanding of many realities, so although Avarosa isn't related to Targon, Taric now knows of her.

Taric knows of the three sisters, at least his Aspect does.. What Glorft was implying is that Taric knew of avarosa but he only met serylda personally. IMO the bow is from serylda as she was the one who came in contact with targon and avarosa was exploring the Void and nowhere near taric.

Vedmah(Oracle) Now that we have more knowledge on spirit walkers we know for certain that they have a connection to the spirits of a land, especially in Freljord a connection to the demi- gods. This theory also regards lissandra because my thought is that there are no spirit walkers in her cult. Odin said that most frostguard are iceborn, tho not all, so Id say more than 90% of her servants are iceborn, a part of the rest are probably oracles. Now oracles actually have a connection to the spirits! https://i.imgur.com/Ywjunb7.jpg[] Lissandra is killing spirit- walkers because the spirits of freljord imply a darkness that is rising from the north and only walkers can roughly interpret that. Since Liss herself probably cant keep an eye on spirits she needs oracles to keep an eye on them, especially demigods like volibear, so they stay out of her way and whenever they dont Liss is alarmed on time.

Frost Priests This will touch on how frost priests can tell a persons fears and lies. If we look back at the third comic that came out, you will notice that when ashe and sejuani arrived at the docks they lied about the circumstances which brought them to the winters claw. Immediately after a frost priest called them out on the lie so I wonder, how could he know they lied? Well Odin sadly couldnt share that information but I have my own little theory. Lissandra can ,,walk in dreams" of others, she can take a peak at someone deepest secrets/fears. Now maybe she taught her frostguard on how to do that on a minor level? Lets call it minor mind-reading or even better, maybe they are some kind of empaths. I thought that maybe its the body language that gave them away but its too simple...

Anyways this concludes some of my theories that arent yet revealed. Feel free to give your opinion or discuss if you think I may have missed something :)

Since taric rework is fairly old, I think you should consider the possibility that the quote above is simply not canon anymore.

But isnt it lore that Avarosa was the archer, Serylda the Warrior and Lissandra the mage?

At least thats how i pictured things O_O

Then as far as i know it was the Watchers who taught the Iceborn about crafting and other business while the Iceborn applied that and managed to take the true Ice and craft it into various artifacts, very little room for Targon here but it is indeed possible that Serylda tried pulling something with Targonian related magic when she lost her voice.

Furthermore Lissandra seems to be killing literally anything that seems even remotely able to get in her way, be they monster, man or something else.

Then as far as Frost priests calling out Ashe on the lie go,,,,,,i dont actually think they did because if they knew where it came from they could just call her out on it and condemn her before the tribe saying that the Ursine will come over otherwise, the primitive villagers would probably fall over right away.

But they didnt, which means they werent sure enough or able to prove it.....rather my impression is that all the Frost priests seem to have the orders to kill Ashe whenever possible without damaging their standing, and they would do that if they tried to deny "good" food that a friend delivered to a tribe, and Malkolm probably reported in that Ashe&Grena had crossed the line which followed by his death in pursuit of Ashe lets the rest figure that she still lives.

So magical comms definitely seem like they´re a thing, which puts the Frostguard way ahead of everyone else just with that, i mean how overpowered is real time info sharing when everyone else has to walk for days through snow to visit the closest village?

But lie detection and whatnot? Seems to be pure bull, i can imagine some magic like a fireball or ice spear but little more really, otherwise the Priests would rule the clans.

Then finally for that line from Taric........i think he is just flirting, nearly sure he is just flirting or flattering.
