That's what was given to us about the Yasuo and Riven story. I just want to ask what gets in the way of releasing more of the stuff that is said to be holed up in the lore vault atm.

Did they not literally answer why it took so long in the same thread. As well as gesturing how much stuff that gets stored up for us.
I mean things like Yordle and Darkin world building/ exploration has been (behind closed curtains) in active production for over a year- although we've had some ounce of Darkin stuff already. It seems though, for one reason or another that narrative releases are dictated by how much it can "promote" something else. If there's no new champ or VGU release or anything else that might be relevant, then the story is seemingly shelved until further notice. There's also the strong possibility that even with some stories they are still just drafts, even if in some finalized-like form.
