Zoe is actually the true villian of this universe.

Aspect of Twilight did, not Zoe herself. She wasnt born when the Darkin were sealed away. She became an Aspect later on. This was one of the Twilights previous hosts.

They are really trying so hard to shove her terrible design lore and visual wise (gameplay too of course) as a cool thing that fits in this universe. I really hate when that happens in games or TV, there is always that annoying shit character that just doesn't fit and that everyone hates and they are always trying to shove it in your face so that you like it, but it just has an opposite effect.
