Seriously. Like, I like it way more than the last two in pure thematic sense.

The previous vs. events...

Have always been grossly stacked against one side. (Darkness on Edgy champs like Darius and Yas? Good luck beating that.)
Only have two skins.
Had a battlepass to unlock EVERYTHING.

This one...

Has about equal love on both sides.
Wide variety of skins so nobody feels 100% left out.
Quests are pretty much on the tin.

Going forward I hope we get more silly/fun versus events like this one or even maybe a versus event with existing skinlines (Shonen Battle Skins vs. Star Guardian Skins is straight-out of a manga). Because right now the least fun with Versus is when it's a dark, dreary, "Nobody's good" story wrapped up in two skins I hope you play the champs for.

I like the Versus universe itself, and I do want to see it come back with more exploration and events like the previous two Versus events.

But it's also nice to get a break for a year with some silly fun. #TeamCates [sg-kiko]

I was slightly disappointed that there were just so few missions to do in this event. And can we really tell if both sides are equal in this fight? This is the internet, we love cats!

It's fun to have a VS event which isn't so serious, but next year I would like to have one that is focused on a general philosophical question again. Like Progress VS Tradition or something like that. I know, the discussions here in the boards get kinda heated, but I like how people are exchanging their points of view here.

Ehhh...

None of the Riot events seem as fun as they used to to me at least.

Silly skins are okay I guess but I miss the days of like thr original pool party skins where the community had to work together for tiers or other events like the freljord one that turned things into a faction battle. Then all of the pentakill events.

The cats versus dog even seems like an even bigger step down from previous Riot events and it seems like they're relying more on skins than their general ability to be creative with quests at this point.
