I'm sure there are other threads here or in the past, but that's the point. That is utter BULLSHIT. I heard the justification about it being region based, but they don't want to be inconsistent region to region. FUCK that. I don't care if someone else's government is so retarded that they ban 2spooky skeletons from their media. This is AMERICA, and censorship is a direct insult to our artistic integrity. It may seem like a small thing to someone who's not paying attention, but Grave's losing one of his character traits is just as backhanding to his fans as making Greedo shoot first.

Go back to making region based artwork for the literally FIVE splash arts that you need to. Or stop offering your services to countries that are retarded enough to force arbitrary restrictions on their media. SHIT.

Seriosuly since when was the cigar much part of his character? He had it in the video and on his splash art for one patch cycle and suddenly it is an "irremovable part of his character"?

Its not even like they say "Hurr,no graves never smokes",in fact it is mentioned in the game that Graves still smokes(one of gangplanks quotes),its just that not every picture of him has to depict him smoking,which is totally fine.

Graves without a cigar is like Wolverine without his. They are still who they are, however you don't get to see them having that badass moment when they light the cigar and and look at you that certain way before they murder you.

Even though it originated in America, LoL isn't just an American game, it is a world wide game.
Smoking was NEVER an integral part of his character. Before his SA update and that animated promotional video the only media that showed him smoking was Mafia Graves. 3)If you REALLY care THAT much, go and find the Graves SA with the cigar and put it into the game files.
Why would Riot remove their game from a region when they'd lose money? For a couple of peoples' opinion on ONE splash art? Really? C'mon don't be ridiculous.

On the one hand, smoking is a major issue in some parts of the world. A really major issue. When it concerns the health of millions of people, I am willing to sacrifice a cigar.

On the other hand, the cigar looked cool...
