From the brief show in the trailer it doesn't look like a sona skin to me. When I first saw it I thought it was a Karma skin because of that floating thing around her head, maybe Soraka (she has a dress rig) or Janna (flowing robes). I mean yes riot says it's for Sona but just from a quick eyeball, sona didn't register in the trailer.

All the above champions would fit in that outfit, it does not fit Sona at all and just looks odd (why do we keep covering Sona's face up)
I really hope they edit the model to resemble Sona more, and that color scheme...oof Hurts to be a Sona main right now
at first i was so hyped to see Sona then these thoughts occurred to me too.so i decided to give it a chance and see how it looks in splash and final in game model for myself. so far i like how she looks in trailer but you know. we always want THE BEST for our fav characters :D

I kinda' hate the ingame model, the T-pose-space sorceress aesthetic will only ever look good upright. Flinging her legs around is mega awkward.
She has her key identifying features, the Etwahl and the flowing ribbons/hair/whatever behind her, that makes her recognizable across all skins.
I think what you meant to say was 'I personally don't like her skin's look' that would be much much more honest
