There’s a surprising amount of evidence. Look at the meaningful gazes in their eyes in the rune chamber.
And just think of how they talk about each other. Ryze says her heart beats to a different rhythm, feels hope stirring inside him when he’s riding with her, and is already thinking of passing his burden to her. Kala sure isn’t happy about losing Ryze at the end, saying he’s “abandoning” her, and speaks hopefully of meeting him again.
They’re both the same mental age, are competent and educated, and agree on what matters most to at least one of them. They work together easily, trust each other, and communicate well even in heated situations. While there are lore reasons against it ever happening, Ryze and Kala would make a good couple.
