League And Its Lack of Twinks

Hi, I'm HoneyOTU, a mid/support main on OCE so my opinions don't matter but still.

League has a serious issue design-wise. A wide variation of beautiful women
and so on, and even a few hot muscular guys too but it has a severe lack of twinks. Now for those who aren't aware, the wikipedia definition of twink is 'gay slang for a young man in his late teens to early twenties whose traits may include: general physical attractiveness; little or no body or facial hair; a slim to average build; and a youthful appearance that belies an older chronological age'. Now, as you can see, only two champions in this game suit that description. Design-wise, another twink would be extremely refreshing. All these same designs for beautiful women could literally just be put on a twink and it wouldn't be another Fiora cosplaying as someone else.

As for the role... the two current twinks we have, Ezreal and Ekko, are a marksman and an assassin respectively. League of Legends has 25 mages, as shown by the league wiki. Of which 12 are male. 9 are humanoids, and only 6 are attractive, not including aurelion sol as he is a dragon.

For clarification, they are:

Now, Karthus is debatable but that is just personal preference. Now, of those 6 male mages, only two are burst mages. There are 10 burst mages, 7 girls, 1 hot guy, 1 ok guy, and a yordle male. This means there's a lack of males in the burst mage section, and as mages tend to be more of an intellectual over physical power, this means that it is the perfect section to introduce a new twink. A twink burst mage.

A prime example of a twink mage would be Ricken from Fire Emblem. This sort of character would suit League's rather lacking team of twinks.

If it helps, Reav3 (Riot producer) has also expressed the sentiment that this game needs more "anime pretty boys".

The game lacks children and young adult characters in general, it doesn's just apply to male characters.

That said, there is also a definite lack of "pretty boy" character, which mirrors the lack of "female monster" and "faceless female character" in terms of the female cast.

But neither Ezreal nor Ekko are gay, wrong term to describe them, you mean something like this probably

I'll say what I say to everyone who is whining about having no fat women on the roster. Riot doesn't need to pander to anyone's personal preferences. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. Odds are they probably won't.

Here's the thing about this, until the lore gets completely reworked, the League of Legends is a collection of the strongest fighters in the world. This body type isn't really that practical in a male fighter. Most male champions are going to look strong, or like some spooky master of evil or something, not, as you refer to this body type "twinks". Besides, most champion aesthetics are based on their character and lore as well, so Master Yi could have this body type, but his character and lore doesn't support it. He would look very strange as a very young adult.

Just look at the ones that already exist. Ezreal randomly stumbled upon some magical gauntlet that turned out to be really powerful, and Ekko can manipulate time, so that makes him pretty strong without a big physique.

It's not as easy to write a young adult male that fits this description, because they need to have some power that isn't dark magical powers, or physical abilities, or a sick-ass weapon, or training, or experience. That is why these characters are the exception in this game.
