I am so disappointed. He sounds exactly like Rhaast with even more of a narcissistic boost.

And no, i am not bashing the voice actor. It's that the direction taken here is completely not what Aatrox is.

Do you hear the current Aatrox scream "I AM AATROX! I AM THE WORLD ENDER!" like Adolf Hitler, with audio quality equaling that of his speeches? Holy shit, guys, you really dropped the ball on this one. I don't care what he says on his downtime, there is no excusing this copy-paste Rhaast crap. He always felt like this older, wiser Darkin who served a purpose with determination rather than another generic "I AM EVIL, DIE DIE DIE!"

He sounds like a fucking Disney villain. BEHOLD IMMORTALITY!!!! MWAHAHAHAHH!!!!!! stretches out eeeveeel laugh

As if immortality is something special to fucking godlike creatures like the Darkin. He shouldn't have to even mention it. They appear rather pathetic now. Even Rhaast gets a hard on for immortality.

"So this is what dying feels like, good thing I'M IMMORTAL!!"

I thought he would talk with an even calmer but a darker, deeper voice now that emphasized the horrors he has experienced...and had a hand in creating. Someone with some serious, actually older than war knowledge under his belt.

The teaser did it right by not having him scream in lust and self-pride as he slew his enemies quietly. It adds to the mistery, turning a character badass by them not commending their OWN actions. I mean who the hell likes people who suck on their own achievements?

Instead....ugh! Look what you did with Swain! He turned out just fine. Imagine if he was a screaming asshole, yelling how he is the greatest!

What the fuck is your narrative team doing? Or whoever is in charge of casting VOs?

Wait, so you're saying you hate the fact that they gave an inmortal alien war god, whose sole purpose in life is to fight, kill, takeover and destroy things the voice of a meglomaniac egotistical dick on a rampage. Tbh, the match is perfect. Also, it shouldn't be a big surprise to everyone that his voice lines and actual voice sound like Rhaast, I mean they are the same meglomaniac egotistical type of species. Also number 2, I think your comparrison between Aatrox and Swain is wrong. Swain's role is to work in the shadows as a puppet master, doing things not because he can but because he must, since no else will,he might have took over Noxus and a demon, but he's still a mortal man. Giving Aatrox the same kind of "puppetmaster behind the scene" vibe to his voicelines is just... not working. I mean, if you were an INMORTAL ALIEN WAR GOD CARRYING A GODDAMN LIVING GREATSWORD, I think everyone would actually love to scream that.

Just another champion rework that trivializes personality and character. It's predictable, but still disappointing.

You would have to be mad to realize they were going to completely change everything about aatrox. If you actually maimed this champ from day one or early on in his release you would realize how random and out of place he is in this game. Riot made a champ, put him in the game and that was it.

That edgy melodramatic champ you honk you know is gone and now we have this edgy angry guy who’s been stuck in a fucking sword for god knows how long. I’d be pissed to but you kids on the board just want to be contrarian and cool.
