With Akali's new skin rework coming to Crimson Akali into Infernal Akali... WHY ISNT HER SHROUD MADE OUT OF FIRE?
It would make so much sense for an INFERNAL skin to be in a FIRE SHROUD. All the other infernal skins have the fire effect.
It would make the skin so much more appealing than it already is!

Yes and no. They still have to preserve the clarity of the ability so opponents know what's going on. Plus, fire is 99% accompanied by smoke.
After Infernal Diana I assume they took the guy responsible out back and shot him. Henceforth never to be spoken about again.
The most they could do is keep the shroud 80% the same but add a crackling effect to make it look like a sputtering dying flame. A giant bonfire is too different from the core ability and when I see a huge fireball I don't think "Ok Akali will be invisible in this" I think "is this an AoE damage spell?"
