Besides what an amazing development to his character that is in and of itself, is it unthinkable that Garen himself has some sort of power? Obviously not like Lux's, but something much easier to conceal that he may or may not have mastered? Or even something he himself is not fully aware of - yet?

Oddly enough i came to think about this after seeing just how well he synergizes with in teamfight tactics.

It's hinted at by Swain, so yeah it's possible. It's probably something they can explore in stories more focused on him.

Garen very likely does have some power, but he probably cannot notice it because he always carries petricite armor into battle, which likely absorbs his own powers, leaving him to be a mortal bulk.

If he was fighting for his life, naked, that might end up revealing some things. But yeah, when do you see garen fight without his armor?
