@RIOTO How come there are no superhero modeled (not personality) type champions?

I remember reading an article written by Riot when they were covering how they designed champions and they said that they wanted to fulfill as many champion type fantasies as possible, and though Riot has stayed true to making people happy with many different champions to give everyone someone they can connect too, I just wonder why there is no flying Ad bruiser type champion? We have plenty of flying ap champions, and some that use machines and such, but no ad flying champion otherwise. Like the kit would be AA based with a high mechanical skill ceiling. A bruiser/skirmisher who flies into a fight. He doesn't have to be a hero per say, just the classic superman/All might hero type in design is what I want. Any word on such ZRioto?

I think that you choose the wrong title for this thread.

You dont want a champion who is like a superhero, you want a champion who punches people and flies.

I mean, people just told you that Jayce is a hero-like champion and you told them that: "his kit and hammer just don't do it for me"

And his kit is all about a hero who uses a hammer with lightning powers to beat others.

That is basically Thor... and if you consider the technology/looks, He is Thor, Tony Stark, Clark Ken and Bruce Wayne combined.

Zac is basically a superhero, he was a weapon created in a lab, but two sympathetic scientists saw he was more than a weapon and helped him break out. So he lives in the sewers and emerges to fight crime and protect people.

And gameplaywise, he does have heroics, he has that slingshot where he basically goes flying, he bounces around, he can slam two people together, has this balance of fighting and helping to it.

Galio is very heroic in voice lines body and abilities, Zac became a hero that protects the people in Zaun, Warwick is a vigilante who kills all the chembarons and their grunts but when he smells blood he wilds out like in his story the Howler and even so he doesnt want to save everyone with his quote "Cant save you all dont want to".

I mean the idea of a champion that's constantly flying, and has the whole AD Bruiser statball thing going on seems like it'd be OP as hell. I mean heck, Superman is OP as hell.

I think Vi honestly comes closest to that fantasy, but she's not a Clark Kent lookalike.

I want to say Jayce and Galio fit that description.

Jayce's voice lines contain lines about "I fight for a brighter tomorrow" as if he was fighting for the future of Piltover as their superhero.

And Galio in his entirety has the look and feel of a superhero. "Time to make an impact!" one of his quotes and even his ultimate is about coming to the aid of an allied champion with a grand slamming entrance!

You said "superhero". You didn't say "superman".

Zyra is pretty much Poison Ivy. Okay, sure... that one is a villain. What about Neeko? While not modelled after Mystic, she does have her abi-... Dang, another villain. Hmmmm... Vitkor maybe? I mean, Dr Doom doesn't use a staff and has a hoodie, but... Oh, villain again. I know! Brand! The Human Torch is definitely a superhero... but Brand is kinda "evil" though... Let's try again. This time, let's go with Katarina. Albeit Black Widow uses guns instead of daggers, they're both assassins, red-haired and with "assets". Black widow is technically a "superhero" and Katarina isn't inherently "evil".

If you're asking for a complete rip-off of some "superhero", then I'm sorry to tell you but it likely won't happen any time soon.
