The new Wukong lore has set a great foundation for the future.

Ever since the addition of and , I had been eagerly waiting for the new Wukong lore and aside from a few things here and there I wish were added, His new lore has set a fantastic foundation for Wukong's story to expand from. Not only did it talk about the important things that Wukong's old lore didn't bring up much such as his village and his personality outside of fighting, but it also gave him a real sense of purpose and a goal for him to work towards beyond becoming the best warrior. I love the idea that he is the kind of character who will rush in to save someone from danger, without any kind of plan and improvises is way out from there.

One of the biggest worries from a lot of people was what his new lore would end up getting rid of and really aside from the fact Wukong is not born from a runestone (which still has some small aspect intact with the Shimon's beliefs on reincarnation), pretty much everything about his old lore is still in there in some way, in most cases explained with more detail then before. Now that he has a nice solid background to go off of, I'm really exited to see how he will affect the world in the future. Great work Riot.
