@Riot, what's your thoughts on genderbend skins?

I'm aware it's been asked before (most likely), I'm curious as to the thought process now. While this would obviously take a significant amount of effort simply due to the VO and everything else that would require being redone, buuuut. Is it outside of the scope of possibility to see an alternate fantasy of characters imagined in a different gender? A female Yasuo, a charming fox-male Ahri, etc?

Bad idea for games in general, a waste of potential champion ideas.

They thought about it apparently, and while they thought it would be a cool idea in some cases, like being able to pick Lucian and use Senna as a skin, they decided that it would be too different from the base skins and would be confusing to opponents who didnt know what was going on and would be looking for a lucian on the enemy team and not finding one, ect. So they decided against it, from what I heard.

I could this working for Pantheon, since there was a female version of him in canon lore.

Female Rengar is the most popular genderbend so far

I'm pretty sure they'd just make new champs. Like a Xayah/Rakan deal.

this would be a good idea if every champion had a fair number of good skins so this serves as an extra fun skin. but right now a lot of champions are lacking.so its better if ideas goes to that first instead.

riot is doing a good job at making champions look diverse so everyone would be happy.

"i dont know why you getting downvoted for this though"

This idea can be good in someway but there's no approriate candidate yet. Nam-valckiry had a lot idea about this, just an additional info. Anyway, upvote this one
