Annie: Splash vs. In-Game

I'll throw it right out there, I love Annie. So you might be able to see why this bugs me a bit. First off, Hextech Annie. The skin that is hopefully subject to change. In the skin splash art; she's got a reddish hair color, her skirt has frills, and her goggles have less bear/cat ears and more actual eye protection. But in game; her hair is a dirty blonde, her skirt has no frills, and her goggles are mainly ears rather than goggles. This is PBE, so hopefully it'll change.

But Sweetheart Annie on the other hand, oh boy. I actually bought this skin, so it makes me even more tilted. But anyway, same deal. In the skin splash art; her hair is a CRISP blonde, she's got nice peachy skin, and she doesn't have much eye shadow/liner? But in game; she's got hair whiter than me, she's as pale as Casper (the Friendly Ghost), and she's got Emumu eye liner/shadow?

Maybe I'm the only one who sees it, or just cares. But you did the same thing for Miss Fortune if memory serves me, you changed her hair color a bit. I know you have more pressing issues in the art department, but put this on your to-do list for a couple years down the road for me, would you? Thanks.

Redriding Annie has a box in-game on her back while in splash she has this awesome backpack with a tibbers keychain. Why does none of her splashs represent her in game?

Annie's hair in her Hextech splash art is actually blonde / light brown. It is not red, the way the lighting works in the splash art makes it appear red, but it is blonde / light brown in reality. I was skeptical about it, until I looked closely.

Comparing those two.

The lighting from the blue fireball above her head is causing colors to appear that they are getting lighter or darker, you can tell by looking at the top of Annie's body and looking further down to the bottom where the colors get somewhat darker in comparison to her head.

The blue fireball, in a way, is causing white light to shine on Annie's head. If her hair was red, it would look closer to being pink than brown. Look at where the light shines on the back of Annie's hair as well, right below her left elbow (her hair curls) and compare it to the part of her hair above her eyes, it is much closer to a light brown, just like her in-game model. If there were to be a better source of light coming from various directions instead of Annie's Fireball, it would be much easier to tell the difference.

Look at her in-game model now, her hair is a somewhat light brown. When a single source of white light only radiating from a certain direction hits a color like that, it would appear as though it is red, but it is not in actuality.

Certain shades brown hair in real life also tend to look red when exposed to a bright light.

Someone asked a question about Vel'koz being beige in game, but black in the splash, but it was the way the lighting was that made him appear black in his splash.

Lighting is everything

I do see what you mean on your other points though

The PBE cycle is probably gonna go live in a day or two from now, so there probably won't be any more changes made to this skin. :P
