I just recently got Boom Boom Blitzcrank, and it's kind of sad that his splash art has absolutely nothing to do with boxing, and his splash art is missing his black eye. Along with some of his other splashes that have different colored eyes compared to the actual skins, it's about time they get updated. Please.
Blitzcrank is a candidate for the Ezreal treatment, meaning that he could get a rework some time in the future which makes minimal changes to his kit (if any at all), but completely changing his model and art. So if they do this, they will also completely update all his skin splash arts to match his new aesthetics.
So all you can do is hope that he will get this update as soon as possible.
