Shadow Isle Champion Hierarchy

How are the Shadow Isles run? I know Mordekaiser is sort of the ruler but what are the roles of the other champions? How does the chain of command work? Do they all just do their own thing or do they collaborate and make plans together?

In the future, I'd really like to see some interactions between these champions.

EDIT: Since people are missunderstanding my question I'm going to reword it a bit.

Do the Shadow Isle's champions collaborate with each other? If so, what does that look like? Who's in charge of this/these collaboration(s) of undead? Or do they all not care about each other and simply go about their own business?

Doing their own thing: Kalista.

Trying to destroy the black mist/save the Shadow Isles: Maokai and Yorick.

Embassadors for the black mist: Thresh, Karthus and Hecarim.

Fighting for control over the Shadow Isles: Mordekaiser and the Ruined King.

Exploiting the power of the Shadow Isles: Elise and Evelynn.

It looks like Hecarim and Kalista may take up sides, since Hecarim's character was a greedy person, so he may side with Morde in order to free himself from the Mist and Kalista would need some help to face them so she may team up with Yorick and Maokai, and Thresh and Karthus who revel in the mist, would seek to protect it and side with the Ruined king. For now though, they are all kinda just doing their own thing.

So basically the king's wife died, and he used a black magic/curse to revive her. Everyone on the untainted shadow isles was affected by the curse in a different way. Morde isnt the ruler, there is no "ruler", your closest thing would be either Kalista (the kings right hand) and hecarim ( the general of the armies)

Edit- look into the betrayer story, and that will help get you started

From what we know from Mordekaisers lore,then there are currently 2 factions on the shadow isles. One side is ruled by Mordekaiser and the other one is dominated by the black mist(and given Yoricks VO,it does sound like the ruined king is in charge)

reading Threshes Lore leads me to believe that the Corrupting influence that warped his being, was none other than Mordekaiser. After all his bones where entombed in the vault thresh was guarding

Who do the isles champions fight for in the League according to lore? Hecarim wants to run at mortals and kill Yorick wants to purge the isles of evil Thresh wants to inflict pain

Don't get me wrong, i love these champs but where is their allegiance in the League?

Morde is the current ruler but he is has not consolidated this power. the shadow isle champions doing follow him 100% But it's implied that the ruined king may still be active in some form and that would lead to a civil war among him and morde.

As far as i understand... the only "ruler" is the Black Mist itself... If the Black Mist manifest in a place, the undeads attack that place.

... So... we could say that the Maiden of the Mist is the one that trully "rules" the Isles... since its a manifestation of the mist... However, Yorick seems to have a link between "her" and him... but Yorick is against the undeads.

Other people says that Mordekaiser is the ruler... and he is one of the few undeads that is not controled by the mist, and some people says (i dont remember that part in the lore) that he has a slight control over the mist. It makes sense for him to have some control over some spirits... because that is one of his abilities, and the bones of Mordekaiser created the mist... in part. And it seems that he had the ability of controlling spirits even before the Ruination, since he was undead before that.

The other one that could be the ruler... is the Ruined King, he is the responsible of the creation of the Black Mist in first place. But it seems that he is not actually commanding the undeads and nothing suggest that he has control over the mist, in fact, it seems that he is another victim.
