"Prestige" is just the name of the skin line. It doesn't make those skins prestigious.

You can buy "syrup" made by "Maple Grove Farms" with "butter flavor" that contains neither maple nor butter. "Prestige Akali," "Prestige Aatrox," etc. don't add to your prestige, they don't make you appear prestigious, they don't have any inherent property of prestige. It's just the name.

There's going to be a lot of prestige skins, but these specific ones are never returning. The prestige comes from the fact that they are exclusive to these events at this time. The only people who will ever have them are the people who get them in the short window they're available.

Prestige skins as a concept aren't rare, but each individual skin is. The people who currently have Prestige K/DA Kai'Sa and Akali are the only people who ever will. That is a perfect example of something being prestigious.
