Since it is supposed to be based off of irelia's family crest which we were shown a complete version of in her teaser I think that trinity force should have it's icon appropriately updated, and maybe even have it's name updated to a more related name.
Where was it ever said that it was Irelia's family crest? It's a combination of the sheen and zeal icons as far as I could always tell, since it used to build out of both of those.

I think it needs an update too. I miss when Trinity Force was built out of Zeal Phage and Sheen....and had AP on it...I remember building it on old MF and going for a kind of mixed damage build with the AP for my make it rain but also the AD and slight crit chance making my Qs crit and proc trinity force one time. It was kind of really strong.
Trinity Force should always be its name for many reasons, most of which the LoZ reference. I just desperately want the icon updated.

Just the weapons on it need changing to reflect what it's build from, like it used to.
The only acceptable name that could be used instead of Trinity Force is Tons of Damage.

In general, the emojis, Summoner icons, and item icon artwork is a bit bleh, and I'm surprised that they haven't started making more icons based on the characters themselves.
I'm not attached to an image of a plant, Shurima, or minions, but I am to the DJ Sona icon, a Region icon, or a Champion icon.
