I like that Riot are getting rid of one-off oddball champions.

Warwick is a science experiment instead of a random Werewolf. Good. Fizz is a Yordle now. Good.

I'm sure the initial idea was to flesh out their environments at some point, but it never happened, so those champions never had an ecosystem of champions to interact with and Riot simply couldn't do lore events (comics, cinematics, etc) for them.

The same goes for champions like Fiddlesticks, Shaco and Nocturne. Just rework them into Demons and call it a day.

I really wish I had a reason to buy skins for those champions or play them but their gameplay and lore has no depth.

Booooring... I preffer the lore that they have right now (aka, undead human scarecrow and evil puppet or something)

Warwick wasn't a random werewolf, he has always had a science experiment backstory involving Singed.

Fizz was part of an underwater society. Sure he was the only example of it, but he didn't have to be.

Nocturne had an interesting backstory for the theory crafters, but not really for anyone else.

Shaco and Fiddle were lackluster and needed an update.

I’m with you in some areas, but you have to remember that this game is called “League of Legends”. The world of Runeterra is wide and diverse. Champions like Fiddlesticks, Shaco, and Amumu represent that folkloric aspect of LoL’s narrative

Some of the lore has gotten worse. Why MUST Fizz be a Yordle? He's not the only aquatic champ, so why not flesh out some underwater kingdoms?

Fiddlesticks old lore was tied to the old Institute of War and needed altered, but instead of remaining a mysterious threat, we get a stereotype bumpkin villager returned for revenge after being lynched.

Don't even get me started on others. Then again if you think Warwick was just some werewolf you never really read the old lore anyway.

Learn to read, then learn to have taste.
