I'm new to this stuff. Anyone feel like giving some feedback?
I know it's not my place to do something like this, but I absolutely love this stuff, and have been a bit obsessed with this champion lore stuff, and thus I have brainstormed for a few weeks until I came up with an adequate lore that is complex enough to be ok (Please no hate until you've read a bit and sorry for wall of text):
Headmistress's notes (Demacia, about 15 years before present day)- The new child, James, is an odd one. He's gotten in trouble almost twice a day this week, and he always just smirks when caught. It is my opinion that the child shows signs of a severe mental illness, but he also seems aware of this. Whenever his joking nature is taken too far, his demeanor changes, and he gets apologetic. The other children are not very nice to him. Just yesterday he used a magnifying glass to try and ignite a fellow classmate's skirt. Authorities had to be called when her teenage brother, Garen, attempted to beat the poor boy senseless. I'll need to have him analyzed as soon as I can contact his social worker. It's a shame the child has no parents.
Police report (Demacia, about 14 years before present day)- Young boy James ***** was found dead today in (location lost). The boy had recently been diagnosed with insert proper disorder here, resulting in a lack of conscious and almost no feelings of pain in his body. His rehabilitation was to begin tomorrow, on his 8th birthday, but some fiend has seen that never happens. The boy was found with a single stab wound in the heart. No leads are currently available.
Trainee L's findings (Noxus inner sanctums, 3 days after the Demacian boy was found dead)- The kid I was assigned to bring in has finally seemed to grasp the situation. He understands now what the Demacians were going to do to him, and he even seems a little grateful to me that I staged his death for him. I keep telling him that he'll need a new name, but he wants to wait on choosing for now. Either way, tomorrow he's supposed to have a meeting with Lord Swain. Hopefully he decides to join. I like this new kid's humor.
Lord Swain's log (Noxus inner sanctums, two weeks into the new child's training)- This child is exceptional. His logistical processing skills are exemplary, but his sense of humor is dauntingly dark. Between her sessions with the Deceiver, I've had trainee L watching over him, since they are the same age. The child has learned our ways exceptionally well. Chaos into order. He fully understands our goals in creating a new order from the ruins and chaos of the old. It is with increasing frustration that the child has yet to choose a name for himself. He did, however, choose a trinket to use for his insignia. He wears a wristband under his sleeve with the emblem of joy and the word "Chaos" engraved around it in aged wood. The child shows a possible skill for assassination. This will be looked into.
Trainee L's findings (6 years after the child's recruitment)- James has gotten pretty good. He's so jealous of my abilities that he's created his own weird versions of some of them. Lord Swain seems pleases at these odd, warped abilities, and James's lack of any affliction with killing is still very enticing to all of us. The only visible concern is that he's almost jeopardized several missions already by disobeying orders, and shirks off taking any responsibility for his actions. In his last mission, he was sent to assassinate the prominent Zaun Doctor, Mundolypse Zenfrod Redrenstein, who was dabbling in areas of regeneration he shouldn't have. Instead of a straight kill, James injected him with 17 times the normal dose of the Doctor's regeneration-inducing shots. I don't think I'll ever unsee the twisting of that man's body. Long story short- the good doctor lived, but he is nothing like he once was, and I don't think we can kill him now. Lord Swain is upset, but I won't be around to see what he does about it. I've got a graduation to attend.
The child's room's surveillance (1 day after the failed assassination of the man who now calls himself "Mundo")-
"Why did you jeopardize your task?" - Swain
"Lord Swain, I've come to realize that my goals help achieve yours, but mine are different." - The child
"Is that so? Well what are your goals then?" -Swain
"Simply put, I really like what I do, but I hate waiting for a new mission or following parameters. I'd much rather just go and do as I please. It's more fun that way, and when I'm done, you can restore order. Then, I can do it all AGAIN! Then your next person can take over and so on and so forth. I'd never be bored, and every day would be a new opportunity for me and a new task for you to attend to. It's perfect this way!" Footage cuts away as Lord Swain begins to shimmer
Swain's reflections (mere minutes after waking from the incident)-
_The child, for I refuse to call him by his chosen name, was my greatest mistake. I risked years of resources on him for his rare and coveted natural gifts, and such actions clouded my judgments. For the sake of keeping records, I shall record the event as I remember it transpiring-_
As I gaze upon this smirking, devious adolescent, I can't help but feel slight blame for his lunacy. This child was growing stranger and had become a risk. An unacceptable risk to everything the ***** **** stands for. As such, I had to take care of it. After hearing his agenda, the situation went as so:
"Lord Swain, I am in your debt for all you've done for me. You and L both, but I refuse to live such a boring, serious life of servitude. I am going to leave and enjoy the world as I would like too. I have come to enjoy the chaos a higher-up assassination can make, and it amuses me to see followers squabble. My only quarrel is that they don't know I did it, so I will make a name for myself, so they know just who's laughing at them. Anything else is just plain rude." - The child
"And what shall your name be? The dreaded James? Cease your preposterous ramblings and just be reasonable" -Myself (At this point I had already disabled the camera. I do not enjoy killing a student, and thus I never wish to re watch such films, so I saw no point in recording it. I had also begun to leak out my magic in small increments to begin my assault)
"You know, I've thought and thought and thought about that, and I think I'll go with something fitting, like 'the psychopath.' Judging by your face I'd say that didn't sound as intimidating or funny as I'd been hoping... (The child chuckled at that, as if it was funny) Well I guess it'll just come to me someday. I never was good with words. Anyways, I wish to speak to L on my way out. You can't stop me, so can you at least save me the trouble of having to fight you and tell me where L is?" - The ignorant child
"L no longer exists. She graduated today. She has followed our deceiver, Tianara, to her final task as a trainee. If she finishes her assignment, she will no longer wear her robes, and she will be given her new name. If not, Tianara will bring the news back."_ (I can tell he was confused by my words. He's never seen L's face or even her hair. He'd never recognize her, and after graduation, she will be forced to never acknowledge her old memories. I almost wish I could've seen the reunion.)_ "But that is irrelevant information to a dead man!" -_I exclaimed as my nevermove clutched his legs and my magic ravaged his face. I had expected retaliation, but he was merely staring at his broken token. It terrified me to see someones facial features burnt white as they smiled, and nothing has terrified me in my entire lifetime thus far. The child merely looked up and whispered one word before he vanished, leaving me with a wound I didn't see him inflict.
_
He left with the burns on his face stretching his features, and it is not until LeBlanc, our new deceiver and Tianara's replacement, recovered the token that I realized the word he whispered was indeed his chosen name. While finding him will be difficult, I expect I'll hear a great deal about him under his new alias. If all is arranged, he'll be hunted down before he ever utters that name a 2nd time. "Shaco" will never be more than his sick fantasy. I'll make sure of that.
Thoughts? I think it's probably too long, but I really enjoyed making it. Since I am biased towards myself, I have no clue how to improve (although I considered taking LeBlanc out. She just seemed so fitting for the role). Maybe less Swain reflection? More footage? Feel free to share.
