Would Griffins be something that exist in Runeterra?

Much like my Genie question yesterday, I'm wondering if there are any Griffins (in all but name) in Runeterra. Raptors don't really count since they're flightless. Demacia would've been a good place to have them, seeing as they're often portrayed as noble creatures.

I ask because I've been playing a lot of HOMM5, and Imperial Griffins are such a good unit. Great for picking off enemy ranged units like Archmagi.
