The way Skarner's new Spires sit on the map looks so awkward
The model and effects are fine, they just look so awkwardly squeezed in, and they clip through the terrain. The circle shouldn't be cut off like that. The mechanic is cool, but the Spire placement feels weird.
It would've looked nicer if there was a "backdrop" for the area that leaned against the wall it's placed in front of. Like, a bunch of crystals sticking up from the ground, leaning against the wall, or something. Unless the capture points were moved to a more open area, that is, where they didn't clip the terrain.
I assume the placement is because of the area having to cover both camps, but it would've looked MUCH better if the spire was put in a less tight spot. For example, it's really tightly squeezed between Red-buff bush and a wall, currently. the The area doesn't have to be a perfect circle around the spire, right? Couldn't it just be circles around the two closest camps, and filling the route between them? That way you could put the spires in an open area.
Would there really be balance concerns in having an asymmetric/off-center area, or moving the spire to a slightly more open space?
