How come Variants and Prestige skins met quality standards but not Sewn Chaos?

Variants are model changes, while Prestige are epic skins for the rich. How come Sewn Chaos, despite it's appearance; not be released? It hits all marks. Explain?

So while I agree with you in the notion that I don't get why the Sewn Chaos skins were canceled (I honestly never saw what was bad on them. They were perfectly fine for 750 skins), comparing those to Prestige and Variants isn't even possible due to how different they are.

Also, SC skins were canceled because people were upset about them (for what reason, I don't know). It's not like Riot put them on PBE, and then, apropos of nothing, just canceled them. People didn't like them, so Riot took the community feedback.

Because Sewn Chaos are actual skins, while Prestige and Variants are, well... Variants of preexisting skins.

There are probably different quality standards for the different things. The variants are meant to be something different than the original, but fancier than chromas. Actual skins probably have higher standards for quality, and the Sewn Chaos skins probably didn't meant those standards when they were first pitched.
